You’ll be able to produce both spectacular color and cost-effective B&W output at to 28 pages per minute – and scan documents to multiple destinations at up to 70 originals per minute, to bring information into your workflow faster. A large color touch-screen control panel makes operation quick and easy, including thumbnail preview of documents.

The bizhub C280 also gives you high-volume fax, finishing and paper capacity options to grow with your business – for a right-size solution that keeps pace with rising document demands.

Fast scanning to multiple destinations.
Scan documents at up to 70 originals per minute, with Scan-to-Email, FTP, SMB, HDD/User Box, and network TWAIN flexibility – plus new Scan-to-WebDAV and Scan-to-USB Memory capabilities. Compact PDF formatting reduces file size to make documents faster to send and receive.

Simultaneous distribution with bizhub Send.
With bizhub Send function, your bizhub C280 can accomplish more work with less keystrokes – scanning, Emailing and faxing while simultaneously storing a User Box copy or saving the file to SMB or FTP.

Enhanced User Box functions.
Scan-to-User Box lets you save files on the built-in 60 GB hard disk drive of your bizhub, You can assign User Boxes to individuals, departments or workgroups, even allocate User Boxes by theme, project or goal to share and group documents more efficiently.

WebDAV support.
Your bizhub provides support for WebDAV (Web-based Distributed Authoring and Versioning) - the advanced system that makes it easier to manage files and folders on your web server, identify authors and dates of web pages, lock documents and track file revisions.

IPv6: the next-generation Internet protocol.
IPv6 dramatically increases IP addressing power and gives every networked device its own IP address to facilitate communication and improve security.

USB transfer.
Add a simple EK-603 USB Interface option to your bizhub C280, and you can scan files to a USB thumb-drive and also print files from a USB thumb-drive – including files in PDF, Compact PDF, JPEG, TIFF and encrypted PDF formats.

1,150-sheet standard paper capacity, heavy stock, standard duplexing.
Load and auto-duplex up to 140 lb. index stock in all trays, load up to 150 sheets in manual bypass, print on envelopes or coated paper, and output 11" x 17" originals on 12" x 18" paper to preserve colour bars, crop marks and margins.

Custom finishing for in-house production.
Modular finishing options can provide 60-page booklet-making, center-fold*, center-stapling, and 2/3-hole punch capabilities – and if you don’t need finishing, a Job Separator option can separate print, copy, fax and report output jobs.

Banner printing.
With the optional built-in finisher installed, you can output full-colour banners up to 11-3/4” x 47-1/4” – a unique bizhub advantage.

Simitri® HD Colour Polymerized Toner.
Exclusive Konica Minolta technology provides superb colour, vivid halftones, detailed fine-line drawings and razor-sharp text.

High-capacity toner.
With high-capacity B&W toner cartridge and Toner Save Mode, the bizhub C280 effectively lowers your total cost of ownership.

Low-temperature oil-less fusing.
Low-temperature fusing saves energy, creates documents that resist fading, won’t peel or crack when folded, and allows you to overprint or write on prints and copies.

Green technologies to protect the environment.
The bizhub C280 provides new power and toner saving modes, low-temperature fusing that saves energy, and other “green” technologies that surpass even the stringent new Energy Star standards.
